the good graphics, large variety of customizable airplanes and bombs make up for the OK combat.

ace combat is about graphics, planes, bombs, and actually flying and using all of the above.



Graphics--the graphics are the best i have seen on the psp so far. they are realistic and yet still have a unique design (and explosions look great)

Planes--there is a huge variety of planes to choose from, each of which with its own advantages and disadvantages. once you choose your plane you can buy new parts, bombs and armor to customize it to fit your personal play style.

Bombs--the bombs look great, fire great, and have an undeniable affect. you simply equip your plane with a bomb that fits the current mission, take to the skies, fire it and watch the affect

Combat--this is how combat works: you see a red square that indicates an enemy, lock onto it, then unload in its direction until the red square goes away.

when all is said and done, ace combat is one of the best games on the psp.
