The story is too generic to even explain. The enemy is never really explained, and there is a short little briefing before each mission explaining why you're shooting down these otherwise random planes.

Gameplay (6/10)
In Ace Combat II, you fly around shooting down enemy planes and enemy ground units. There is no part of this game that is difficult to grasp. Flying is easy, locking on to an enemy is easy, firing missiles is easy, and accomplishing your mission goals is easy.

Graphics (6/10)

Durability (6/10)
The game is rather lengthy, along the lines of more than twenty missions, with some paths being optional. However, the easy difficulty will have you finishing this game within a few days of playing.
