First and foremost id like to Address that this Review is not cool...
Its a terrible review because it was primarily reviewed on XBOX One....Why? Why on earth would you review this on Xbox One as an introduction to a game that's been out for a long time, developed and has a flourishing community on PC. This is a very misinformed review to say the least. It doesnt matter how bad the console port is...GameSpot have just labelled one of the best most innovative games in the last 10 years "Terrible".
Firstly the game was released on PC a loooooong time ago now so this is what platform the game should have been reviewed on primarily no question.

Well this is Dumb...the review is dumb..the approach is dumb and i actually feel quite bad for the developers that one of the biggest review platforms in the world were so callous and unfair in their review. They may have had a terrible experience on Xbox...cool...the massive mistake made there was they shouldn't have reviewed a port before the original...
So From a Pc perspective and a player whos rammed over 150 hours into this game this is an honest review...
The Games great, in fact its amazing. 18 hours of play would even scratch the surface of how deep the layers of this immersive survival game is. Its tough, its relentless its exactly how id imagine the struggle of a Zombie Apocalypse. Surviving the world is tough but incredibly rewarding. Playing with friends is probably one of the best Co-op multiplayer experiences i've ever had. Throw PVP in there and you have everything you could possibly want from a Survival game. The game is so well thought out i'm surprised every time i play that they have taken it even further, new ideas bug fixing etc...the developers have poured their hearts and soul into this game and you can tell. Now the games not perfect by all means...because its still in early access. Im also hoping the devs will pull their finger out and get it done...its been too long now. The game also doesn't really have an end goal which would be nice to see...by all means let the game carry on after a main objective or something is completed but i feel that the game feels a little endless atm. Now my only concern here is why the devs decided to cash in on porting this to console before the games is complete or even at all...... that was a bad decision in my eyes. However Gamespot need to support these great games this is the future and you have now tarred this game by giving it a 2 out of 10 for a console port.
I hope this isnt the end of 7 days because for me that would feel like a huge step back in game development and the indie industry as a whole. Because i guarantee you if this was based on a PC review it would get a solid 9/10 from me and if it was polished with some good graphics to a AAA standard game.. 10/10 easy. How many games can you say that when your friend is not co operating and getting you medical supplies the second he goes to the toilet you lock him in a box until he apologies for being an ass?
But no Gamespot are right COD gets a 9 or whatever and this gets a 2 what a joke.....
