Short & disappointing.

User Rating: 5.5 | 25 to Life PS2
As an avid fan of the GTA series, this game got my hopes up: the chance to play as both a cop and a criminal was very appealing, but 25 to Life was a big disappointment. The game had a few glitches here and there, but it was the lack of any free-play made this game as just another boring shooter. The sets were unimaginative, repetitious, and grainy. Instead of being challenging, only being able to carry two guns at a time really sucked. And having a little body armor would have been nice.

25 to Life was almost as short as The Sopranos, which, in both cases, was a blessing. The storyline was predictable, but that's secondary to the action.

Unfortunately, this game was lacking more than it had to offer. Perhaps if I'd played the game on a different console like the Xbox 360, I could have been impressed by the visuals, but on the PS2, it was short and disappointing.
