A solid online experience, but lacking for the solo player.

User Rating: 7.6 | 25 to Life PS2
Forget the 5.7 ratings and the 3.0's, 25 to Life is a solid game if you're looking for a good online experience. As of the current moment, the servers aren't in the best condition, but Eidos claims that they will soon be fixed. With the limited time that I have spent online, the overall gameplay is both fun and solid. The hit detection is a bit shoddy, but question most of the online shooters, and which game has perfect hit detection? None.

If you were looking forward to 25 to Life, atleast give it a rental. If you're a fan of the SOCOM series, consider a rental as well. It's not as bad as IGN or Gamespot makes it out to be, which leads me to think that they did not take the online play into serious consideration.
