A good addition, but your better off with FIFA 10/11

Although World Cup 2010 gives you the opportunity to rewrite the World Cup the way you want to, I found that the game is not really an advancement in the series. There are a couple technical problems addressed in the game from FIFA 10, but EA hasn't made any significant changes in the game. Graphics are pretty much the same, and I found it hard to truly enjoy multiplayer because of the lag.

Other than the World Cup mode, online mode is often riddled with lag problems, which essentially ruin the flow of the game and often leave me disconnected from my opponent. However, if you are solely looking to play the World Cup, this game is perfect for you. If you just want to get to play with the international teams, than just get FIFA 10, b/c you have the option to play with international teams on that one.
