Playing this game at the arcade was always a blast. The NES version does not disappoint in capturing the excitement. This is a scrolling shooting game that, at the time, was the base for future similar games to follow. The basic premise of the game is that you fly your plane and destroy enemies in the pacific during World War 2. There are 30 levels to get through, and the game appears tedious at times—seeing how you can’t save your game. The graphics are not the same as the arcade version, and the music gets annoying after a while. I always used to turn the music off by the 5th level. Any die-hard NES nut would enjoy the simplicity of this game.
