A very classic game remake on the ps3.
gameplay:
You choose a plane, start the mission. Firstly you will hit smaller enemies, after you clear them, a danger sign appears and you face the boss. The boss has many types of weapons, and u need to destroy them 1 by 1. If you do, u will proceed to the next level.
Control wise, it's pretty clear cut and simple to use, definately one of the most newbie friendly game i've seen.
There's 3 types of primary type of weapons, they changes it's types over some time, and u get to choose ur upgrade, there's a limit of 1 upgrades per weapons, thats is when u get the same weapon for twice, it will get stronger, the 3rd time u will get 1000 bonus points. There's also secondary weapon, but they're bullet limited.
Graphics:
Nothing to get all excited about, but it's very good graphics compared to the older version, colors are great and images are sharp as well. Look totally classic and at the same time, modern. The game runs very smooth, i only notice slight slowdowns a couple of times only.
Sound:
Average audio here, the attacking and weapons sounds good, but just that i find the volume a bit high compared to other games.
** Overall, i find it a worthy buy, it has great replay value and is a ton of fun to play with friends. Very seldom would u find a game like this nowadays, it's a total classic remake. Also it's very newbie friendly since the controls are fairly simple, if u have any friends over, they will definately enjoy it. The downside i find was it's difficulty, after trying several times, i still couldn't manage a completion.
