Mediocre at its best. Forced use of Gadgets.

User Rating: 4 | 007: NightFire PC

The game feels like a scripted scene and you know the ending of the game before you start it. You know there are going to be gadgets and stuff and that some parts will involve stealth and action and forced use of gadgets just because you have been given them to make you feel how cool all this is.

The game severely drops short on all fronts. The AI is weak and as the main protagonist of the game James Bond feels very unsatisfying and the combat is too easy. The levels are designed to specifically make you use certain gadgets so the game can get on to cover the next part of the movie of Bond.

The game allows you to occasionally take a cool approach towards a specific objective. There is no objective in the game that makes you feel challenged. Graphically the game is at best average even at its time. The trademark James Bond music makes its way into some of the more refined parts of the game: Cut scenes.

In all once you complete the game, you will hardly have broken a sweat and will be ready to delete this off your PC. I played this game years before and writing the review now, but still have a strong sense of how mundane I found this game to be.
