Cool idea but could have been worked on more.

.dot hack Infection has a very cool idea, you are a character you plays another character in an MMO, and its virtual reality. Strange things are happening in the game world and people are getting hurt in real life. It is your mission to find out what is happening. Along your quest you find more people to help you out. I think they do this very well sometimes I think I am in a real MMO, but then I start noticing its very scirpted. Everytime you get mail for one of your buddies its was planned. Which makes absolute since they just could have made it more spontanoues, it normally happens after something imporant happens. The game also gets repitive because the worlds are almost the same but I guess you can't really notice. They have a cool feature where you can put in keywords to make worlds to play around in. Also there is the Board where the NPCs post bulletins and forums, sometimes its about backstory or a special event in a certain world. The graphics aren't bad at all, and the sound is not very good. When you hit something it sounds like your tickling the enemey. But the game is ok if your into the magna or just want a different RPG, if you get past the somewhat repitive gameplay it could be fun expiernce. Also finally what I like about the game is all of the equipment the can change everything about your character and make it not so repitive. One of favorite things was questing for a good weapon instead playing the story, the story is well written and the voice acting is prettty good. So again its not that bad its just alot hard to get used to and repitive.
