Despite all the negative reviews thrown at it by ding-dongs like Gamespot, .Hack//G.U. Vol 2 is the BEST!!

In Vol 2, you continue the story set up by .Hack//ROOTS and .Hack//G.U. Vol 1. The story picks up right where you left off, immediately throwing you back into the game. The first few levels are easy to give those who didn't reach the level cap in Vol 1 a fighting chance, a thoughtful gesture from the creators in my opinion. For those players who did cap off in Vol 1, the real action kicks in soon enough. The game play graphics are just as good, the CG animation is slightly better, and the voice acting is greatly improved. Ovan's voice actually has feeling this time around. As you play, there are very few instances where you have to go out of your way to level; usually just following the storyline will keep you ahead of the game. There are, however, a few TOUGH bosses. It's not that they're real killers, but they take little damage if you haven't taken time out to do some EXTRA preparatory leveling. Never fear though, they do go down. With 5 new party members and a couple twists on your average dungeon, Reminisce keeps you on your toes as well as in a trance. A great game, don't pass it up.
