The way the game starts out is rather interesting, it's a twist you didn't expect. What happened makes you compare it to mystery novels, since it's a story all on it's own. When the game gets on track, you then notice all the things that have been added and upgraded from the last version, "Rebirth".

New things available:

- You can upgrade your steam bike to be able to access a higher speed, you can customize it as if it were your own car.

- New armor and weapons that suit your higher levels, new items, and new spells.

- Dual Swords combos go from 4 to 7.

- Crimson VS opens for you to play.

...and much more.

-----------------
Good things:

*The game is central around Character development with heavy scenes of dialog and interesting movies that move the story along.

*The graphics are a huge improvement from the older .hack games, movies have rather nice graphics that move smoothly. *The story is very moving, it keeps you wanting more and whenever you have free time you just HAVE to play it or you'll go crazy. Very easy to get obsessed over, will be a huge disappointment when I finish it.

*Music is beautiful, unique. **Game play is easy but entertaining. Might get repetitive.

-----------------

Things that can be improved:

**Game play may be too easy, not sure if it is a good or bad aspect. it might be repetitive, but there are changes in the game play (such as changing weapons in the middle of the fight quickly and new combo limits).

*Sometimes the voices are off and the mouths move with no sound, not sure if it is just a lag or something.

*If you have not played Vol.1, the story might confuse you. They do explain what happened in the last game, but it might not be enough.

All GU needs is a much bigger following for it to become something as huge as FF, it has potential. I strongly recommend it.
