Dragon's Dogma 2 is a single-player action-RPG with heavy emphasis on player choice. Along with designing your own character, you'll get to choose three Pawns to bring with you on your journey. These companions are AI-controlled and support you during combat--giving you a fighting chance against overwhelming groups and towering behemoths.
The sprawling new action-RPG from Capcom earned a 9/10 in our Dragon's Dogma 2 review. It is worth noting, however, that Dragon's Dogma 2 appears to need some work on PC.
"The most noticeable misstep derives from Dragon's Dogma 2's performance on PC," critic Richard Wakeling wrote in GameSpot's review. "My current rig exceeds the recommended specifications (aside from the CPU), and the game generally runs at around 60fps using the game's 'High' preset. Sometimes it dips into the 40s and drops even lower inside villages and cities, but it's certainly playable, if a little unstable. The problem is that this performance is consistent across all visual settings, which leads me to believe it's a matter of poor optimization."
