Weekly NPD PC game sales chart: November 30-December 6

Electronic Arts gave The Sims: Makin' Magic the wrong title--"Makin' Money" would be more apropos. The expansion pack for Maxis' beyond-popular game was the number one-selling PC game again from November 30 to December 6, marking its fifth week on top. The Sims Double Deluxe also stayed put at number three, while The Sims: Superstar was down but not out, sliding three slots to number 8.

The rest of the week's chart was stacked with familiar names. The enduring popularity of shooting Nazis helped Call of Duty stay at number two, while would-be deities raised Age of Mythology to the not-quite Olympian heights of number six. After a week hiatus, Uru: Ages Beyond Myst returned in ninth place, while Zoo Tycoon: The complete collection stated caged in fourth.

Taking off on holiday sales for pilot wannabes, Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight re-entered the charts in fifth place. Christmas shoppers also bought a lot of two kids' games; Finding Nemo and Barbie Horse Adventures: Mystery Ride both galloped onto the charts at tenth and seventh, respectively.

Absent from top 10 for the first time since its release for the PC was Halo: Combat Evolved. Also gone were Madden NFL 2004, Backyard Basketball, and Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic.
