TOKYO-- Square Enix will start recruiting for beta testers in Japan for the online edition of Front Mission via a newly announced "Double Mission Campaign" sweepstakes.

In the "Double Mission" campaign, contestants can apply for a prize by sending in the application and postcard included with Front Mission 1st and Front Mission 4, respectively. Contestants may apply for a number of prizes in the contest, which range from a Front Mission Online beta test membership to a special-edition Wanzer figure. Although Square Enix will still be opening beta test applications of Front Mission Online to the public in 2004 spring, 500 lucky winners in the sweepstakes will be given first priority to check out the game.

Front Mission 1st is scheduled for release in Japan on October 23 at a price of 3,800 yen (US$35), while Front Mission 4 is scheduled for release in Japan on December 18 at a price of 6,800 yen (US$61.90).
