This highly addictive zombie shooter is the main reason to buy a Wii U at the moment.

Zombie games have been around for a while now, but more and more recently we've been seeing them turn to more of an action genre rather then horror. ZombiU goes back to basics with the zombie franchise. Putting you right in the middle of a zombie outbreak in London you have to survive. You start with nothing, and find weapons and gear as you go. This game forces you to be smart by making ammo for weapons fairly rare to come by, and when you do it's only a couple of bullets.

The game makes great use of the Wii U Game Pad by having it mainly used for your "backpack". When you access it you are still live in the game, unlike other where as soon as you access your inventory the game pauses. You have to be quick as a zombie can attack you at any time possible.

Your health also goes pretty quickly, which makes it even tougher. One hit and about 1/6th of your live is gone just like that. You let a zombie get to close to you and even if you're full health, it'll grab you and you're dead. Thus making it all the more challenging.

The only negative about this game is what people care most about these days, the graphics. I for one just want a game that doesn't look like complete trash. ZombiU isn't using the full limitations of the Wii U's graphic abilities, and let's leave it at that because let's face it, it looks fine.

Should you buy it? Yes, it's a fun game that'll keep you entertained for hours.
