Amazing story, fantastic voice acting, shockingly good English translation. Gameplay may not be for everyone.

This is an interesting game. However, I like reading and I like puzzles so this games suits my tastes but won't be for everyone.

Right away I was drawn in by the story. I'm always a bit anxious when I start a game that it will take a while to get interested and I'll have to fight back boredom while learning the game. Didn't happen with this game, I was hooked right away. Sure, the first puzzle took some getting used to but by that point I was already keen to know what would happen next.

The middle part of the game is the weakest as you have to replay certain areas and new plot points are far between. Unfortunately, this is a big chunk of the game. The fantastic voice acting helps, but it does get boring seeing the same scene five or six times. You get a bit of new information each time though, slowly expanding your understanding, so you're always moving forward and have new puzzles to solve. Just wish you could completely skip scenes instead of just rapid clicking through them.

The end part of the game is brilliant, however, as everything falls into place. An easy game to recommend to anyone who loves a good book. The characters are amazing, superbly voice acted with a shockingly good translation into English with word play and puns that couldn't be a word for word translation.

Lastly, I think Vita is the perfect platform for this game as it is so much like a book and the Vita acts as an interactive ebook reader here.
