Ignore the score. If it's anything like the first one it should be quite fun and very interesting, and the games really do just have fantastically weird art.

Despite how many bad reviews I have seen for this game, I still want to play it! Going around punching ... things ... in the face looks fun!

I think the game have alot of promise to something much more. The overall game mechanics needs to be improved or the actual game play be adjusted to make it more fun.

I never played the first game... it was very easy to follow the story and I rather liked it. It was full of nice metaphors and interesting characters. Like the Golem for example, when he is struck by Ghat's sister and in turn the blow harms Fathermother and Ghat as well. The Golem responds by saying "when you harm me you only hurt yourselves, you're just too primitive to understand any other way" he isn't even talking about himself receiving physical harm but rather how he represents civilized society and moral progress and the Zenos represent primitive ways.? By "harming him (progressive thinking) they hurt themselves" and impede their progress toward advancing as a culture.

Also, figuring out the game's tools to solve puzzles was easy to discover and simply implemented to progress through those puzzles. The only time I ever had an issue was with the strange gun-like weapons; sometimes one gun was a grenade-esque launcher and I couldn't tell the difference from that and a shotgun-like weapon, which led to me shooting an explosive at an enemy when they were right in my face and it would obviously explode and damage me as well.

Beyond that, this game deserves a 6 when taking into consideration GameSpot's scoring system. The game is not great, but it's good and enjoyable but contains nothing that will blow your mind beyond the occasional vista and denizen or two. But mediocre is the last word you can use to describe this game, let alone score it.

The game doesn't look particularly fun, but the creative department has a bright future ahead of it.

I hope they come out with a demo for it first. The artwork looks interesting enough to give this title a try

@JustPlainLucas literally the first thing he says is "Hey this is Kevin Vanord standing in for reviewer Brett Todd." your joke makes no sense

I've never heard of this series before but it looks mind-numbingly boring.
