People say this game sucks,but I disagree.

I bought this game just so I could add to my Zelda collection.(Seriously,I have the first six games in the series now because of this game) I paid $20(which,for a used NES game,is pretty expensive) for it,so I was hoping it would be good. My hopes were fulfilled. This game is one of the best games I ever played! Yes,it is very different from all the other Zelda games,but they say change is a good thing,and I agree entirely! The best part about it is the fact that it is so poorly translated that it makes it funny! This is also the game that is famous for the "I am error" message. Now,I shall rate this for each category.


Graphics: 7/10 This is an NES game,so the graphics aren't gonna be the best. But for the NES,the graphics are pretty good. The world map looks like crap though,so that's why I gave it 7 out of 10.



Sound: 10/10 The music is awesome! The only thing odd about it is the fact that the original Zelda music isn't there,but that's ok.


Gameplay: 10/10 Here's the only iffy part. It's a side-scroller,but that actually works pretty darn well. It took a few minutes to get used to this part,but after that,I learned to love it.



Story: 7/10 This is probably the only part I don't really get. Five months after the first Zelda game ended,Link came back to find that Ganon set a Spell on Zelda that made her sleep. Odd,very odd. Whatever. It was still good.


Overall: 10/10 This is one of the best Zelda games I have ever played! And it's also one of the best NES games I have ever played! I strongly recommend this game to anyone who has an NES or who likes Zelda or side-scroller games.
