Zatch Bell: Mamoto Battle review.

I just bought my game two days ago, and I must say, Bandai did quite a good job on it.

Pro:The gameplay was smooth, the graphics were also great, and the best part should be the fighting. The control was really well done, as well with how they take out the charge heart gauge option, to prevent abusement. Also, the game is fairly easy after playing a few rounds. (I was beating Zeon pretty bad using Tio after a couple of rounds of playing. XD) The second best part (which most other Japanese-translate company fails to do well at) is probably the voice cast. While a few are bad, most of the voices are acceptable and great. (Gotta love that British accent of Nazo Nazo Hakase. XD) Another really great part is the entire game play part. Not only Bandai did the gameplay really well, they make the spells look so realistic that it looks like we are watching the duo really versusing each other. The replay value is also great, since there are a bunch of secrets waiting to be unlocked, and the game itself is just too addicting to quit for a Gash fan.

Cons: There were a few flaws left unnoticed or unfixed (sometimes in the cut scenes, the voices are not synced with the lips of the characters. Also, for some unknown reason, the voice of Kiyomaro and Dufore chanting the 7th spell is also left intact in the game, while you can't even use it in the game.) Another thing that is really disappointing is Bandai's choice of taking out Kafka; however, it is acceptable for the reason of doing that, since it is a big spoiler for the US watchers. But again, the reason they left Reira and Victrim in the game..completely bizarre. Maybe just showing them for preview of new demons.
