An irritating game, shouldn't buy it and only rent it for a couple days at most.

User Rating: 3.1 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 7: Kettou Toshi Densetsu GBA
I was extremely excited when I first saw that the Sacred Card game had come out. After all, it was the first game that would feature Slifer, Ra, and Obelisk. However hopefully this rating of the game will show that the game wasn't worth my excitement.

Gameplay: This was definately the only area where the game excelled. You are a friend of Yugi and Joey, and are in the Battle City Tournament, just like them. You have to gain all the required Locater cards, and then beat all who oppose you in the Battle City Finals to win the game. I feel that this was rather innovative for that game, and I just feel that in a Yu-gi-oh! game, it is always good to be friends with the main character. 5/10

Graphics: Meh, not much I can say about this part of the review. They were not that good, enough said considering that GBA games are never really that focused on graphics. 3/10

Sound: Not that bad. Even though the walking music gets extremely annoying after a while considering that you are walking for over half of the game. The dueling music is interesting, but even that after a while gets annoying and just makes you want to turn the volume off. 4/10.

Value: The game has pretty much no replay value considering that you would just be playing the same game over again with no differences. As interesting as the duels can be, here is what really ruins the game: THE GAME WILL ONLY TAKE YOU 3-7 HOURS TO COMPLETE! You heard me right. The only time where the game gets difficult is when you are looking for the last couple Locater Cards and by then you should have the strong cards needed to win the game. Play Obelisk or Slifer, and you have won the duel. The game just doesn't entertain you for long, even if the game is entertaining the entire time. 1/10.

Tilt: The first bad thing about the game is that when you finally get Ra by beating Marik the game ends. I like Ra and so I was upset that I didn't get to use it. The second thing is that the game follows by the same irritating "Attribute" rules and don't follow the tournament match rules. The "Attribute" rules are that if a specific attribute battles another specific attribute, one of them will win no matter what the ATK/DEF points are. This was interesting in Dark Duel Stories, but it is just annoying now. So I give it a 2/10.

The final score is 15/50, or 0.3, or 3.0. Hope that you enjoyed this review and that I helped you to make an educated decision on whether to buy this game or not.
