By far, the worst gamecube game ever. "All New Yugioh Garbage!"
I one day walked into a gaming botique in a store, and I was a Yugioh fan back then, I was into the cards and trades and everything. Anyways I got to the gamecube section and saw the box for this game and decided to look at the back of it. I thought it would be impressive from what it says "Witness the mighty egyptian god monsters in action!, 3 on 3 field Monster Battles!, Uncover brand new original storylines. I thought the game itself would be impressive and hey, I even get 3 new cards along with it. I thought this game would be an amazing RPG that provides a word I used to know before playing this game "FUN".
Anyway after I bought it for it's worthless near $60 I got home and tried it out. I started campaign with Kaiba, The story was completely boring to read because it's all monstrous amounts of text. After the text I started out playing. I soon then realized how terrible this game is, There is no strategy involved, The music is terrible, the gameplay is bland and slow and linear, The environment looks terrible, The views are irritating, The effects of the monsters attacks may sometimes look decent, but you come to realize that is all this game has, Monster attack effects, with horrible graphics. I can keep ranting on the cons on this game lets focus on the pros. Hmm, give me a moment....NOTHING, There is absolutely NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS TERRIBLE GAME.
The gameplay itself is like this; Monster ABC Vs DEF. The only option you will really be using is Attack, until later in the game you can have items, Not only that, Computer will have almost infinite heals to use everytime one of his monsters are almost dead! Wow, thats amazing, You get to watch another boring hour of monsters attacking each other until you finally die or computer dies. But wait, once you lose you start the mission all over again! and watch more and more of it! except you get to keep your monsters levels from the previous time you replayed the level! Wow that is amazing. I get to watch ALL 3D ACTION GARBGE LASER BEAMS SHOT AT EACH OTHER THE SAME WAY EVERY MINUTE. With little strategy involved this game is abysmal, I have had it for years and it's been nowhere but the bottom of a box.
