Let's just say, I've seen better, played better, and had better than this game... It isn't the worst I've played though.

To start out a review for a game such as this, requires a touch of care, that I for one do not possess... This definitely wouldn't be a game I would bother to try playing without cheats, not due to difficulty, but due to the fact that I wanted to get through this game very very quickly, for starters, the selection of creatures is wide, but most of these you wouldn't even care about, probably never even heard of a lot of them. Secondly, the looks of the attacks for the creatures are incredibly repetitive (insert echo here)... You see the same animations throughout this game thousands of times, creatures share attack animations, making for a horribly dreadful battle system, I saw the same moves so many times I wanted to gouge my eyes out. Don't get me wrong, I love the card game, and I liked the show... but this... this game was horrid. The graphics sucked at best, the battle system was overly simplistic and boring, the fields were unimaginative, the repetition of animations, and the story were less than... how to put this, interesting. I don't mean to bash, but there is nothing else to do with a game like this, the developers could have done much better, even with the Gamecube, I mean, look how beautiful Resident Evil 4 was. My final verdict, this game gets a 2.5/10
