Yu Gi Oh! Nightmare Troubadour is a fun strategy game thats great for multitasking

User Rating: 7.5 | Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour DS
Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour is a great game..... if you don't put your entire focus into it. With over 20 card packs, dozens of characters from the anime, tons of deck recipes and a story that nicely smoothly transitions the player into the story already makes this a pretty good game. However, its just a card game in the end that only requires you to use either 6 buttons or the stylus. This game doesn't require a lot of attention, except for a certain few difficult duelists that forces you to strategize a bit, but with so many powerful cards your deck would eventually reach a point where its so powerful that it requires no attention to play this game. I play this game when I'm watching anime/show. The graphics are decent in this game, characters/cards looks great but the 3D animated creatures are a bit fuzzy and its probably better w/o. The gameplay is pretty solid, the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, no bugs and gives a tons of options. Eventually you'll get bored of this game because of the repetitive gameplay, but by then you'll probably already have experienced the true fun for this game. This game is great for satisfying your nostalgic middle school dueling life, but that's about it because you'll always wish you had your real deck in the game or vice versa. In the end, Nightmare Troubadour is a solid DS strategy game that I would recommend to any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan or card gamers.
