PERiodically you do a brief test to find out your progress. you can schedule workouts for days of the week and maya will be waiting for you to come. IF you meet your workouts, you get to unlock nice vistas, such as waterfalls.
There are many different focuses that you choose for your workouts; do you want more flexibility, strength, balance? Maya works them all out for you.
There's even a quick meditation garden for you to do a quick workout you want to cram in.
And now I just found out it's backwards compatibile for the XBOX 360!
awesome, the graphics were already fluid and great, but now i get to see them in full 720p high definition.
I give this title 2 thumbs up for not only being the only title of it's kind, but for also doing it well.
The only drawback I can think of is you can't use your own custom music, because the default tunes are synched with Maya's movements, but you have plenty of musical styles to choose from, plenty of scenery to choose from, and many different workout schools (yoga, pilates, cardio, weights, etc.)
If you don't quite get the movement she's doing, you can go through a tutorial that shows a skeletal animation so you can make sure you see the motion and a full description of the correct postures.
