The Child In Me Cries Tears of Joy

User Rating: 10 | Yoshi's Story N64
Yoshi Story. Yoshi Story is easily one of the best games I have ever played in my life!!! I mean, holy crap it's like......wow!!! Okay, I gotta say the story is crap, which is basically, Baby Bowser steals the Yoshi's super happy tree and the Yoshis get it back by eating a crap load of fruit and becoming super happy.
The graphics are great, 2 1/2 D, which is three dimensional objects on a two dimensional plain. Also see Kirby 64 and Paper Mario. The point of the game is to eat a crap load of fruit to get to the next level and eventually defeat Baby Bowser. There are a few other bosses throughout the game but they're pretty easy. The game is very short, but you have to play through the game three different times to unlock all the levels. So there's at least some incentive of playing it again. There's also hidden eggs to find so that you get more Yoshis, which is this game's life system. Each Yoshi gets one life then you choose another Yoshi. As I said, the game is pretty easy, you could easily beat it in a weekend or a day but it's still a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone who likes good games.
Like Derek Alexander "The Happy Video Game Nerd" said, "Good games are great, cuz they're good."
