It's a quick run, unless you are a masochist. ;)

I wonder what I could say. So I'll start from the easy bits.

The music in this game is rather repetitive, but it fits the odd feeling of the game very well. It really feels like you are playing through a fairy tale, or a dream.

The sounds and noises are probably the most adorable ever. Especially the mysterious way that the yoshis sing in is cute and sad at the same time. But that is really a matter of taste...

Graphics are nice, although they make me think if this could have been a SNES release anyway. But why bother releasing yet another yoshi game on a platform that was badly outdated at the time...

One bad thing I find from game play/controls. Many times an old player like myself has trouble with the controls - and then you're dead. My yoshis tend to run out too fast, which might be just because of my own lameness. Mainly I have problems with just moving around without mistakes.

This is a game made for children to run through and for more "mature" players to search through. Sometimes I feel like playing it through quickly and sometimes I like to stick my yoshi's nose everywhere on one page. Naturally, I haven't played this game to the fullest yet. There is still stuff to find and high scores to beat.

Also, I still haven't learnt how that egg launching thing works. :D I think I have to look to a guide or something, since I bought the game as a loose piece.

If you happen upon a Yoshi's Story, go ahead and try it. This should be simple enough a game for anyone to run through just under six hours (yes, it took me roughly that long :D), but I think owning this game brings a lot more fun if you like searching around and beating high scores.
