My favorite game

User Rating: 10 | Ryu ga Gotoku 3 PS3
Ryu Ga Gotoku 3, or Yakuza 3 to us Americans, is a great game that imports the open world and exciting neon lights of Tokyo to our Play Station 3. Sega cut content in the American version, but, however, it had no impact on my review. This game was perfect.

The game plays as the last 2 did, as Kazuma Kiryuu, an ex-Yakuza member, who wants to let that life go, and start a new, as the father figure of an orphanage. However, different factions draw him into the underground of gritty Japan, as he fights to help newfound friends, and to save his orphanage from destruction.

Kazuma is very easy to control, and the camera is easy to move as well, (unlike the last 2) which makes for and easy pick up and play game. The combat is very fun and in depth as you upgrade moves, gain new ones, and kick some booty. The story is also so in depth and emotional, you find yourself connected to the characters.

The mini games and side quests are a great feature that allows you to take a break from the main storyline, and have fun doing random things like crushing a underground sex slave prostitution ring, finding a cat for an old lady, and convincing a man not to kill himself. The batting cages, bowling, golf and fishing are among my favorites.

The trophy collection is very deep and fun to achieve, some are for beating the bosses, getting high scores, and for doing finishing moves.

Overall this game was perfect for me. I loved every second of it, and wished for more. I got number 4 right after i beat this game, because i wanted to continue the story. WATCH THE CREDITS AFTER THE GAME FOR AN AMAZING AND HEART WRENCHING ENDING!!!!!!!!!!
