Gamespot's rating isn't realy fair... "Sure the game has it bugs, and the replay value might not be as high for most people, but what does make a game great then ? Halo, for instand, is one of the best games ive ever played in the FPS genre, but Halo has some bugs to, like floating bodies,or when you try to walk with MC it looks like he's doing the moon walk, but still its a great game. So XII has bugs like floatong bodies to, but the game does have an intresting story and you realy have the feeling that you are playing a BIG role. Shooting works fine, but im a little disapointed about the online feature. It has lots and lots of lag, and it kinda staight forward. thats one of the resons why you could give this game a low rating, but lets take a look at JB: NightFire from EA. This game has even less features than XIII, but still it gets a rating of 7.9 ! That doesn't make any sence, so i give XII a rating that think it should get !
