XIII is a "must play" game. Because of the unique comic book style and the great story :)

XIII has some clumsy firefights, stupid AI, out of date health system but overall XIII's gameplay is decent.
The story in XIII starts with the U.S. president has just been assassinated, and you are an Amnesiac waking up on a beach, with only a bank deposit box key.
After Two levels in the game you're arrested by the FBI, who claim that you killed the president.
I am not saying anything more, because i don`t won two spoil anything:)
The unique thing about XIII is the comic book style, that i never seen in any other game before.
The music in XIII are great!, the voice acting is good, but the weapons sound decidedly muffled.
The graphics in XIII are good, the character models are impressive, but the environments themselves aren't as detailed.
The reason that XIII is one of my favorite games is justified by the game unique style
All in all recommend you buying this game, you will find it very cheap
