To start off with, The presentation to this game is off the chart. Visualy everything has been updated. The battle system has been reformed to a more basic style of RPG battles, back to a turned based style. There is a decent amount of customization that was placed into the game that rivals that of the original. It implements the Tech, Ether, and Special attack abilitys without the annoying S.Point system that was in #2. The Sound quality is much better, the return of the MoMo's and Shions original voices gave me a sense of relief, because lets face it.....they were not that good in 2. Yuki Kaijura has done an excellent job on the score to the game, Particularly my favorite is Promised Pain (main theme). To me Xeno III represents a perfectly balanced RPG. With good voice acting, a good soundtrack, beautiful visuals, and one heck of a conlusion, (....Really it is a very good ending.) It makes me wish that most of these other RPG's out there would take Xeno III as a inspiration toward creating decent RPG's. It is definantly the best out of the 3 games. Kudos to Xenosaga-A great franchise that fell short due to the mainstream audiences not discovering that there are more games out there than final fantasy or other mainstream RPG's.
