An impressive, fun, and fast-paced thriller of an RPG.

Considering the first two Xenosaga games were both lukewarm for the most part, Episode III blows them both away. Highly updated visuals, amazing voice acting, an inspiring soundtrack and gameplay that moves quickly and is actually FUN. Every single inch of Episode III has been expanded and improved upon from the previous entries. The story moves much faster with plot-twists and events occurring at every turn. Though the build up was a chore, it was worth it to see everything come to a head in Xenosaga Episode III. The amount of badass in this game is off the charts. Best of all, the storytelling is now more balanced. Each character gets plenty of spotlight, and rightfully, Shion and KOS-MOS are once again the focus of the story. There's more character development, and more opportunity to put everything in the first two games to use for the story. Forget something? No prob. Xenosaga Episode III has each and every detail concerning the series right at your fingertips. Additionally, you can view the cut-scenes you watched, unlock bonus costumes and check out a couple of excellent and brief summaries of the first two games supplemented with screenshots. Xeno fan or not, Xenosaga Episode III is a must buy.
