One of the greatest games ever.
At first I didn't really like that they had changed the look the characters look, because I hate it when they do that on games because it trows me off. But When I saw the new outfits that they had, I was really pleased. Specially with the way that they made KOS-MOS look. So for that, I give them a 10 in graphics because they managed to improve the characters.
The gameplay was also switched on me, I was used to the one of the first one but I had to get used to this one. The monsters can now surround you, and if they hit you in the back there is a higher chance of them doing a critical hit and they might also do several chain attacks. The bright side to this is that you can also do the same to them. The chain attack is when you are attacking, you can boost one of your own characters and they will attack right after you so you can break their defense or if it's already broken you can inflict massive amounts of damage on the enemy. One thing that I liked, is that they all now share the boost bar (I'm not sure if that's how it's called) but that makes it easier to bost one of your characters. One thing that I didn't like was that the people that use long range weapons can't do close range attacks. Before the used to be able to move in to punch them or kick them, but now they can only shoot. For this I give them a 9.
The sound was really good, I've never had any priblems with that. The value, I got it really cheap since it was some time since it had come out and I also bought it used so I had no porblem.
Over all, I give this game a 9.2 for having been a great game and keeping me intetaned for a goos time. I recomend this game to everyone that likes to play RPG games. And even if you don't, I would still tell you to play it.
