XCOM: Enemy Unknown User Review
Xcom everything you could want in a strategy game.

Xcom UFO defense force was one of my all time favorite games and back in the day I would have never dreamed of what it would look like in 2012,and doing another version of xcom is a tall order to fill.
But I must say Firaxis has done it,and beyond any expectations.
Xcom enemy unknown is an awsome succesor to ufo defence force,and done very well on the consoles,xcom is a turn based strategy game & you take control of the xcom team to eliminate all alien threats,first off you pick a location on the world map for your base and unlike ufo defense you only get one base, & depending on which country you put your base you get certain perks.
Then you manage your base wich is an ant farm style screen and you manage everything from technology to customizing your troops,then after your given missions you go into a tactical map to fight the alien abductions,terror missions etc,and its done very well.
The Graphics are done very well and look crisp and while cartooney they really look good.
The sound is done very well to all the way from the music to the awsome sound effects,and the voice acting is excellent.
The gameplay is the meat of the game,and yes turn based games in this day and age doesnt sound that great but trust me its done in away that hardly matters its turned based,the upgrading of weapons to the leveling up of your troops are done awsome.
This is one addicting game I have played it every day since its release,and I usually mix my gameplay up but xcom keeps drawing me in,it has that one more mission effect on you.
Over all this game is everything a strategy fan would love, actually theres only a couple of things I can knock,and that would be some clipping and some strange visuals upon close up veiws,and then theres the fact that I wish they would have had random maps,as after a while of playing,you start seeing some maps you have already played,but honestly it hardly takes away fromnthe game.
The game is an awsome game and you would be very impressed with this game,and if you havent played it check out the demo on PSN or Xbox live,but if you like stategy games,this is probably the best strategy game to date well at least on the 360, but most definetly a must buy game.
