- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
I will be short and blunt on this review. When the original came out in the 90s, i played it for days, maybe weeks just in pure quality game time. The refurbished version is good, really good, but its scripted in the sence you cant just start searching for alien ships on your own initiative, you have to wait for something to happen. Now to the bug issue: There is a BIG camera malfunction in-game. Especially when you are trying to get your GI`s to the right place, i often end up sending them a floor down because the rectangle isnt showing good enough where you are sending your men. On other occasions, especcially on multi story quests, the camera is "off point", i cant see where to go because the level where im supposed to go is pitch black, and i can promise you ive tried many times in all creative ways i can bend my mind around. So my conclusion is that there must be something wrong with my GPU, or the critics havent played this game for more than a very few hours. Trust me, i love this game, but this camera problem is just killing me! Over and out!

Ignore the old farts that are nostalgic about the game from over a decade ago. They rate every new game poorly.

Broken promisses, poorly ported, repetitive and not much content.
