- "Amazing"
Having played the previous X-Com games I would say this one is loyal to its roots. It may not be as hard as the previous installments but it offers a good challenge. The gameplay is amazing : very user friendly button configuration and options. It is as easy to shuffle inbetween your soldiers on the battlefield as it is to order them different commands. The levels are well designed and each enemy has it's own abilities. It is amazingly fun to go through each level and try to keep your soldiers alive. By keeping them alive they gain new abilities and these abilities are a must. You have different type of weapons based on different technologies. To have access to those weapons you must 1st collect the parts required for the research on those new technologies by defeating aliens, and then you must engineer these weapons. You entertain relationships with various countries that give your organization funding by helping them when Aliens are trashing their countries. If you don't pay close attention to these countries they will discontinue their funding.
This game is pretty simple and pretty complex at the same time. The game offers you a tutorial that is part of your game therefore making it NOT a chore to go through. This is the kind of game you can play and replay a lot of times. I strongly recommend you get it.

The only thing more terrifying than the aliens are the bugs that invaded this otherwise superb game.

Just like the legacy game, but on steroids! A lot of fun for those that like turn based games with cool cut scenes!
