i wish they wouldve taken this kind of approach to halo wars, not the voice command but the down in the action camera, that adds so much to the games feel

great game if a little lackluster in the staory department :p i'm suprised the voice command feature hasnt been adapted to some extent on other RTS games, I knw that console rts games in particularly could make excellent use of this as could pc based ones (though to a lesser extent)

Looks like a pretty cool game. I wonder why Asia is not apart of this World War 3. I am sure China and Japan would want a peace of the action. I may have to pick this up for my PSP.

Hopefully there will be many more RTS' that use the voice command feature. It would make you feel like you were actaully telling units where to go rather then clicking a point on the map.

this looks like a tremendous strategy game, better than command and conquer even, hopefully they'll make a sequel for it, improve the little flaws and it'll be a 10/10 straight up yo

All people who say this game is bad are one of two things. A: They haven't played it, or B: A chimp could defeat their "Undefeatable Strategic Prowess". This game is very impressive, and while you may have to play some missions over a few times to beat them, it is very fun to send a dozen choppers to go and gun down a pair of fleeing tanks. It IS just basicly a more advanced version of rock paper scissors, but who says that age old game isn't fun? Trust me, buy this game without your personall bias against it, play it for 2 hours, and then tell me it is a bad game for the PS3. And by the way dark, EA is already designing a strategy game (C&CRA) and their games are less realistic than Ubisoft's.

Halo Wars isn't even out yet...

And Halo Wars got 83% on Metacritic...End War got 77%.

Don't base a game on one review. Base it on multiple reviews. But most importantly, if the games gets a 2.5, but you love it, it's all you man. Ares, I can see your are basing you judgement solemnly on gamespots reviews. That's just fail.

But I really liked the demo for this game.

If WWIII is to occur, China and US would definitely be the two main players, Europe, Russia, India, Israel, Middle East will all be taking sides. Disappointing how there are only 3 factions and they don't have much variation between them. Looks intense, but I will pass. Maybe in End War 2 they will finally come up with more factions and unique units for each of them.

This game should have been put in better hands. EA would've done a much better job than Ubisoft. Great graphics, extremely interesting interface and voice command is simply one of the best things that's happened to gaming. If this game was made better to let's say a 9.0 standard, this would be one of the best RTS games out there. This title, unfortunately, doesn't live up to Tom Clancy's name.

Parabellum71 says 'Whats up with the Good Start? Nothing about this game seems innovative. Voice Command has been around since Socom on the PS2 and troop upgrades have been around since Warcraft. If anything voice command turns online matches into complete silence for the most part. Considering you have to press that D pad button just to speak to you're teamates, most people don't talk. And the theater of war mode kind of looks like a joke compared to CH's persistant war mode.' Several things wrong with your comment. 1: did you ever play SOCOM? the voice command system was absolute crap, it never worked half the time and when it did work, it would do the opposite of what you said. something as simple as telling your team to hold fire became a living nightmare. 2: he means 'innovative' as in its the first time voice has been used in a RTS title, which is a massive jump forward because console gamers dont have a keyboard to map complex commands, and 3: turning matches silent isnt necessarily a bad thing. iv left a lot of game lobbies because some idiot has their mike next to a speaker blaring music or shouts nonsense or insults people at random because they know they are safe hiding behind their tv screens (Parabellum probably falls in to this category) and 4: your 'theatre of war looks like a joke' comment heavily implies that you hav'nt even played this game. so keep your comments to yourself until your knowledgable on the subject and actually interpret what people say instead of making up your own version of what they have said.

This game is disappointing, especially compared to World In Conflict. The camera controls aren't good by any standards. I still have to give them props for trying to use Voice Command which I had fun with. Still would like to move anywhere on the map even without a unit placed there.

I agree with him. The explosions are crappy. In a war game, explosions are of great importance. Obv. they didnt spend to much time on it. With a score of a 7.5, I think I will wait until it goes on sale. I dont need my christmas list to exceed 300 dollars.

This is by far the worst video reveiw I've ever seen on gamespot. The orders he's speaking out isn't even linked to the gameplay displayed. When he said: "unit 7 secure delta" there wasn't even a unit 7 on the screen! That's really, really crappy
