Winning Eleven demo kicked onto XBL

US footie fans can test the fields of Konami's Xbox 360 soccer game; demo weighs a heavy 1.2GB.

Though the game was released almost a month ago, Konami still believes it can convince a few people to pick up a copy of Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007. The Xbox 360 demo for the game, after being made available in other regions, is now accessible for gold subscribers in North America on Xbox Live Marketplace.

MajorNelson.com, which tracks content on XBL, does not have details on the limits of the demo but does note that the file weighs a whopping 1.2GB. For more information on Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007, read GameSpot's review.

i downloaded the demo yesterday..the game was ok in my point of view..i mean you don't really get the next gen feel with this game..i dunno if it was rushed out to the market. the graphics weren't really top notch as i thought it would be compared to fifa 07. but over all i think this is a good game not a great game.. but for a fast 5 min gameplay on the demo which feels like 1 min for 1.2 g is really not worth it..i'd rather rent the game. lol then if i like it i'll buy it.

I've always hated sports games....games are usually used to escape reality and do things you wouldn't really do in real life, like shoot people or take place in a Medieval War,make locust bologna with a chainsaw bayonet...Wouldn't you rather play the sport in real life? That's just my opinion.

I might check the demo out, even if it'll take very long to download.

Actually I have lots of room for the 360...I just use the left over shelf space I thought would be used to hold all my PS3 titles.

I just don't get soccer, to slow pace for me. Right up there with baseball as far as excitement goes or lack there of. I would rather go outside and actually play any sport rather than watch it on TV or play it's video game counterpart. Except for racing, damn speed limits and traffic laws... damn them to hell!
