360 College Hoops 2K6 gold

Next-gen version of 2K Sports' collegiate hoopster goes behind the back, through the legs, off the backboard, and into factory.

To date, the next-gen basketball battle has been strictly a one-on-one contest, with 2K Sports' NBA 2K6 and Electronic Arts' NBA Live '06 tipping off against each other for the Xbox 360's launch. A third game is getting ready to play pickup, as 2K Sports has announced that College Hoops 2K6 for the Xbox 360 has gone gold. Already released on the Xbox and PlayStation 2, College Hoops 2K6 for the Xbox 360 will sport some exclusive features, including more detailed player models and fully 3D crowds and school bands. Carrying over from current-gen versions will be online play, the new strip 'n' rip system, and the shot stick. College Hoops 2K6, due to dribble into stores March 7, is rated E for Everyone and will retail for $59.99.

    People, have some patience.

    If they release next year's version of the game when they *should*, It will come out no later than November.

    Why buy a game in March for a Sport that's about to end? Paying 60 bucks now for this game would be like buying a copy of a baseball game 5 games into the World Series.

    Save your cash and buy one of the great games coming out this month.

    NBA2K6 looks noticeably better on the 360 than it does on the xbox even in lowly S-Video so I'm sure that College Hoops will be no different.

    I loved the Xbox version of College Hoops 2K6 and it sounds like they've made quite a few enhancements to the 360 version. I'm definitely picking it up, can't wait for it.

    Most likely, I would wait for next year. Most of 2K sports this year have only boosted significant updates only when HDTV is applied. 480p doesn't look nearly as great as it should, and hardly better than the regular Xbox version.

    College basketball games are the only basketball games I like. I will definitely getting this game when it comes out.

    I'm in. Some times the college hoops games are better then the pros.

    Hopefully they'll release themes and picture packs of the individual teams like they did in other games. Go Bucks!

    Hmmm.....not really into college basketball.Hopefully they will have NCAA Football this fall for the next gen consoles.

    Going to be March Madness with all these 360 games. College hoops is going to be great because I was a big fan of NBA 2k6
