Anyone change leaders often?

wondering if anyone changes leaders at times or does everyone just stick with the same people.

i usually change them ever so often since there are so many and we can only use 6. but its frustrating because i know my main characters will suffer and lose out on stat bonuses and such. i just get tired of using the same characters, but it sucks that you kind of get penalized for swapping them in and out since they wont be as strong. we really should be able to use more leaders i think. maybe 2 more.

its good to change them to guide them into what you want them to learn, then put them away and they'l learn what you asked. Sometimes its quicker to get them to learn skills if they're not in a team. For example, you could get someone to start learning traps and then put them away, as you gain you'r own skills so with they but as a benefit they won't have used any components. They'l go all the way to level 5 in skills even if not in a party.

hmm. well they may get the skills for arts, but do they sill get stat increases like HP and STR while in the reserves? this game really has to many cool leaders to let them just sit there but im afraid of my "go to" team losing out on stat boosts.

i'm cycling through everyone - since there is no Battle Rank cap and some of the achievements just take forever and a day, i'm doing it just for the variety and the challenge and for something to do while ding donging around with guild quests and the like...

you don't need completly buff anything to beat any part of the game but the dlc boss, so i'm giving everyone a shot for a while

The still get their stat increases, and just as quick as your normal team members it would seem. If you want them to learn something new then pop them in a team, go clear an easy zone and leave, they should ask you if you'd like them to learn something new, if not just repeat process until they do..

Wow I wish I knew that, I've been using the same 4 leaders for about the last 20 hrs of gameplay. I could have covered so much ground if I knew this sooner.

I cycle through all of them regularly. I like having them sit in the back to get skills I normally wouldn't use, or are costly to use, such as the Traps and Shards skills, or lotions. I never get to use Antivenin, since all the units have someone with Refresh, so I never learn anything past that for Rush. The other lotions are importent, especially Eye Cream and Throat Salve. The only reason my leaders have such skills is because they learned them while in reserve. They'd never have the chance if I kept them in the party.

Im sure I have read on the load screens that the units have to be in your party to learn skills or abilities, I would think that would apply to all the people leaders or units, I could be mistaken on this if I am no big deal....

I have loki with caustic V and I never used him, I think that message refers to those in teams, you need to use a skill for a chance of an increase or to learn the next tier. Thats why it can be better to keep them in reserves..
