    I'm baffled at the fact that there are still some that haven't played this game. This is one of the best games that I've ever played. Some people don't like the graphics but this game isn't meant to look "real". It's Stylized Realism and it's supposed to look like it does. Bethesda doesn't miss. The amount of content in this game is both extensive and impressive. I still haven't finished 100% of the game.

    WARNING: you will either HATE or LOVE this game! PROS: -lots of quests, -great voice acting, -open world unlimited gameplay, -lots of weapons and skills

    CONS: -graphics really are not what they are cracked up to be on the 360

    -combat is a bore after about 20 min -many glitches, -way too many long loading times which are really long

    -bad... and sometimes really bad AI. I found that the AI is fine until u start doing things outside the law. For example, your bounty will go up weither or not someone reported u comitting a crime. Guards ALWAYS know where u are, even if they havent ever seen u before

    -poor stealth system (charecters almost always know u are there even if thier back is turned to u)

    The game looks great until you start playing it a lot, and after about 5-10hrs of gameplay the game really feels repetitive so you don't really get 150hrs

    at first when i played this game i thought it sucked but after i got into it more it started sinking in and i started playing it more. oblivion is addicting and for 30 dollars its worth buying and playing. i might also give fallout3 a try. yeee

    I didnt like the little comertiol at the begining before the review started but the is the most ASOMEST GME I HAVE EVER PLAY (200+ hours of play time)

    this game is definitely the best of all rpgs simply because its addictive and fun and thats what other rpgs lack because they work on the story too much which makes it serious which isnt neccesarily crap but kind of mediocre (except FF)

    Got it today. Bought on ebay for... 14€. How cheap is that for one of the best RPG ever made? I have played it in PC for like 30 hours but i bought for XBOX360 so i can play again in my big TV. Love every minute of it. Thief FTW!

    I play my pc games on my 50 inch LCD tv. Plugging in your pc to your tv is just has easy, if not easier than plugging in your xbox since I only need one plug.

    And when I think about it, greggy boy was just reviewing the game for the time period. PCs may not have been very good back then but pc hardware is always getting better where as a console can only get older and eventually pushed aside for the next gen.

    So anyway, I'm gunnar continue to 'hate' and play oblivion on my tv with everything on high with no framerate skipping or what ever.

    In no way did he justify giving the Xbox 360 version a higher score than the PC version. The PC version has better graphical options, less frame rate screw ups, and you can get and make your own user created content. What does the Xbox 360 version have? Achievements...... And they suck anyway because there all just finishing the guilds and the main quest. He also doesn't mention that if you get user created content on your Xbox version, than you'll be shut off Xbox Live, which gets rid of the only thing that the Xbox may have over the PC version.

    I've played every character as both evil and good. It is (was) so far ahead of it's time, it set a standard so high for others to emulate. Just a great game. I really hope it continues on into the future like the final fantasy series. The unfortunate thing is that Bethesda Studios is always so busy.........I wonder how long #5 will take to get made and put out.

    just started another character (well i say just - over 30 hours in).

    30 hours in and haven't even touched any quests, just been having a blast levelling skills

    seriously, i'm having a ton of fun on a game i bought years ago just by utilising a tiny percentage of what's available to do - that's the quality all games should aspire to

    I heard this game and Bioshock were going to come out in a bundle package for 40 dollars. Anyway that is what I am going to do this summer. I love bethesda and I loved Fallout 3. And all you haters out there, SUCK MY BALLS. Now screw you guys, I'm going home.
