it looked more like they were using their powers together not joining bodies, you gotta think they have tony stark and reed richards and hank pym. the smartest dudes in the marvel universe, they can do anything.

I hope they add Danny Rand to this one.

if the heroes fused it would look kinda weird, maybe it's best if moves fused. but i get your point.

Characters that gotta go: all 4 fantastic four, except Human Tourch, Dr. Strange, Spider-woman, Ms. Marvel, and Nick Fury.

New characters they should add: Psylocke, Gambit, Iron Fist, Bishop, Cable or Punisher. But most importantly, more costumes. More than 4 per hero.

this is the 21st century ppl. how lazy must u be to crank up ur graphics..of course gameplay and story matter most but the hardware is available to bring out more polished stuff. What is worth doing is worth doing well!!!

I liked MUA. Proberbly one of the essential Super Hero games of anyone's collection. Frankly, if they do add more heroes, they gotta add Gambit and Punisher. 1. Punisher may have no powers but neither does Fury and he gets a spot in MUA. Fair? Not in my books, bub. 2. Gambit is Gambit. He's just awesome. Nuff said.

Nice shots, lets us know where they are going with this. Hope the graphics stack up, but that's not the biggest concern by a long shot. Really just want the gameplay and story to be top notch. MUA was great because it never got boring from beginning to end (and the end credits were hilarious). Def keepin tabs on this game.

I was afraid what Fusion meant. I was thinking of more of the aftermath of the Marvel-VS-DC arc, where there were some truly hideous fusion of heroes and villains, like Joker's with Sabertooth's. Gross.

So I am glad it's just combo moves in tempo utilizing the heroes' unique powers. Vicarious Visions is simply reinforcing and making more accessible (and impressive) a feature that Raven has made for the first game.

Though I wonder why the bad guy goons simply just stand there and wait to get owned. Maybe they are just like those idiots at the start of the Kung Fu Panda film.

"... and he was so awesome that they were blinded by his sheer awesomeness!"

    "Gackk!! I can't see!"

    "He's too awesome!"

I hope that this won't be the case.

Where can you find the character list?

  • peteyday

    Posted Feb 2, 2009 4:37 pm PT

You are damn right I'm buying this. But a question, aren't Wolverine and The Hulk virtualy unstoppable? Wolvie is majorly regenerative and The Hulk is regenerative and unimaginably strong. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I loved the first game and I can't wait to play with Wolverine and the Hulk but aren't there a few plotholes in this?

lol..you could do the hulk wolverine fusion in the first MUA...ujst grap wolverine and you can throw him

  • darkspirit138

    Posted Jan 21, 2009 11:12 am PT

Apparently the character list is (at the moment):

    Captain America
    Daredevil
    Green Goblin (tchah!)
    Hulk
    Human Torch
    Iron Man
    Invisible Woman
    Luke Cage
    Mr Fantastic
    Spider-Man
    Storm
    Thing
Thor (by the power of Asgard!)
    Venom (HOLY TCHAH!)
    Wolverine

Some characters have been reported to be in the game, but may not be playable like:

    Bishop
    Bullseye
    Cable
    Cyclops
    Dagger
    Hercules
    Nick Fury
    Nova
    Penance
    Songbird

    Sounds sweet

As an unabashed comic book geek, (who somehow managed to get married and have two kick ass kids ), I simply can't wait. The first MUA, though I played it on the PS2, rocked my socks off and I can only expect, (read: hope), that Fusion will send me running to the sock drawer once more.
