time it took you to beat the game
- Jan 4, 2009 5:46 pm PTso i've been thinking about getting this game and i've done a lot of research on it, but i wanna know how long it took some of you experienced players to beat the game. i've seen this gameplay video on steam and the guy made the game look like it was beatable in 5 minutes so yeah lol
please post your times in hour values that you actually played
and not like "lolz i beat it in like 5 days" because 5 days = 120 hours
thanks!- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Jan 4, 2009 5:49 pm PTi beat it in about 30 hours, i ran through the main quest and did some sidequests. on my 2nd playthrough i have about 79 hours in. im 10 hrs in on my third playthrough

- Jan 4, 2009 6:02 pm PTI still haven't beaten it even though I played for 120 hours and have had this game for maybe a month and a half now :) Yeah, I do all the optional stuff and explore <_<
- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Jan 4, 2009 6:05 pm PTI think I was somewhere around 90 hours the first time.
its not really a game where the object is to just beat it and be done with it; but if you just focus on that and feel compelled to play like that, I'm sure its doable in 5 hours, for a first-time try not using any guides.

my old sig was a direct quote from a post that never got modded, but I got a major TOS violation for it! cool, huh? ^_^- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Jan 4, 2009 6:07 pm PTI'm at about 37 hours and haven't beaten it yet. I complete the main sidequests and I've been doing some exploring and collecting bobbleheads. I'm towards the end of the story so it seems like just playing the main story wouldn't take long at all but you'd be missing out on a lot. I've actually enjoyed getting more out of some of the sidequests then the story missions. Bethesda has done an incredible job making the Wastelands a world of its own. There's so much to explore and I just wish there were more quests to really make the most of the wasteland. At least there is DLC on the way.
