    On 5/5/2009, Fallout 3's third $10 add-on, Broken Steel, was released. In this pack, you join the Brotherhood of Steel to rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave. It also allows you to return to the game after completing the main quest, and raises the level cap to 30.

  • After the Fact: DLC

    Fallout 3's second downloadable add-on, The Pitt, was released on 3/24/2009 in an unplayable state. On March 24, it was re-released in a more suitable condition. In The Pitt, you take on the role of a slave in order to investigate rumors that the Raider boss of The Pitt has discovered a cure for mutations. It's about 4-5 hours long.
