Scramble stumbles
Xbox Live Arcade game pushed back to next Wednesday to correct "minor issues"; PGR3-themed Uno will be released instead.
Microsoft has designated the middle of the week as Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays, a regular schedule for the company to release new games for its online gaming service. However, this Wednesday has apparently hit a bump in the road.
Scramble, the arcade shooter from Konami, was scheduled to be released tomorrow morning at 1 a.m. but will now be released at the same time next week.
Microsoft offered the following explanation: "During the final testing and certification of [Scramble], we discovered some minor issues that should be addressed. Therefore, we are going to take an extra week and fix these items to ensure a high quality game experience for all when the title does launch on its new date of Wednesday, September 13."
However, Xbox Live fans won't be left completely empty-handed. Microsoft will release a Project Gotham Racing 3-themed Uno deck for 100 Marketplace points ($1.25). Details on the new deck were not disclosed.
