Almost two months after Rock Band 2 arrived in stores, Harmonix released the promised 20 free songs online. The "emerging artist lineup" can be downloaded by redeeming the code that shipped with all new copies of Rock Band 2. A complete list of songs can be found here.

    I can't tell, have they made the hammer-ons and pulloffs easier to notice in this game? It was really hard for me to tell if i could hammer-on or not in the original RB

    brenden403....the bass is easy cause odds are the song is played on easy...and beastie wasnt always hip hop...they were a punk band...so they are not soley rap or hip hop

    I am a huge beasties fan, but I'll say that it's not a great tune for rock band. Sabotage killed in rb1, but they needed something more epic for this, like fight for your right to party. the kerry king solo woulda shut the haters up LOL.

    How can you guys say that this song sucks? Its the f**king Beastie Boys. I bet all you guys listen to is Metallica or Slayer, which is cool, but get some music listening range. I think i liked about 95% of the songs that were on 1.

    That song sucks.
    Definitely not one I won’t to play at all.

    The moment RB/GH people start doing rap in there games is the moment I no longer wont to play them.

    Stick to the rock tracks Harmonix/Activision Blizzard there truly what these games are about.

    If you won’t to do a rap one. Then do one just for rap make turn table or something for them. Just keep it out of these.
    (Man that song just sucks...even for rap)
