fix:

click menu, than change the resolution to the smaller one, and it will play instantly

menu
options
320x240

video will play

Didn't work for me either.

What did work however, was using the "Download the Video" link on the upper right of this page. I was able to download the Lo-Res version and the High-Res version played within Firefox.
