    I kinda like the game (only been playing it for about half an hour) but I can't stand the choppy frame rates on the PC version.

    Everyone has their opinions, but I have to say this review is WAY off. Being someone who has actually played the game instead of relying on reviews, I can honestly say this game is great. The gameplay is great, the pacing is great, the soundtrack is AMAZING, and the story is well done. Kevin VanOrd is unreliable mainly because he bases his reviews on - "Are the weapons fun to shoot?" That always seems to be a key factor in almost every review he has written. I can honestly tell you that the weapons, for the most part, are in fact "fun to shoot". Try the game for yourselves and find out.

    Just because he's a famous actor doesn't mean it's impossible for him to do a bad job. Listening to the clips from this review alone makes it seem pretty bad.

    That would be Mike Patton, only a very famous musician and highly celebrated voice actor. You'd think these poor excuses for journalists would actually do some research into the games they were reviewing. ¬_¬

    Wow. That's too bad. I thought Joes dirty dread-locks alone would award the game @ least an 8. The swinging around looks pretty fun, but if nothing else is fun, i don't know.

    The most important thing is to have fun with the game . I had fun with it .Well sometimes it gets boring but it still delivers the hype to continue !

    Ady_1102 : what on earth are you talking about?? While I am no huge fan of GS, they still have plenty of games they love and plenty of games they hate, just as there are plenty of good and bad games out there. I think the review did a decent job of explaining their views and even from the vids it's obvious this game isn't a whole lot of fun. Maybe you're too young to understand, I dunno... But your post made ZERO sense.

    reminds me of the kane and lnch dead men review crappy multiplayer unlikeable character hope he doesnt get canned

    I don't think you can compare Prototype to Bionic Commando because the games are too different in a lot of ways to do so. I beat Prototype and am still playing because it's loads of fun, but I don't see it being a competitor for this game. Having said that, this game despite negative opinions looks worth checking out. I'll probably go rent it just to see if it's worth the buy, but from the gameplay footage it looks inviting enough to check it out.

    It is much better than Prototype. If anyone here was smart they would TRY THE GAME FOR THEMSELVES instead of relying on what one man thinks of this game. And neji3k, you're not suprised that Kevin VanOrd made a bad review? Neither am I.

    This actually looks worth playing, from the video it honestly looks entertaining. I just muted Kevin VanOrd and jammed some Trae and this shyt looked pretty fun. Definitely not a buy for me but a rent is seeming like a possibility...

    I was thinking of getting this because i got a lot of unlocks in rearmed, but this guy sure is a kill joy on me wanting to get this game. compared to other platform games this looks new and interesting considering its a massive leap from rearmed, the music is a good remake off the original too. 6.0 makes the game sound like its got something annoying about it like bad camera angle or something but it seems like in his opinion he wish it was just like other games like spider man. I am not a fan of clone games.

    I think this game was awesome. Sure the story was kinda whack, and yeah Nathan could have looked a bit less lame, but the action was so intense and the leaps of faith were so high I could have gotten vertigo. I will agree though that shooting the shooting was difficult.... and the multiplayer was GARBAGE!!! Haha. And I'm glad it was a pretty "linear" game because if it was like any of the Spider-Man games, I would get lost or bored within the story. But come on, a 6.0? Really? I'm thinkn an 8.5 or 9.

    I hope they get it together on the sequel. Seems like they got things in place for a good game. Hopefully, they'll get it right with the sequel.

    The guns sure didn't appear to be any fun to use.. They need more lag time, and should be a bit more stiff. Maybe using real sound effects would help too.

    Great review, VanOrd doesn't fall for hype too often and I like that he knows how to be harsh.

    I was pretty impresed by the review. Its a shame that this didnt turn out great, it could have been really fun. I might still buy it though. Is it worth the money though???

    This game is off the hook. Nice graphics, good gameplay but grin could've done better.
