i love how he keeps saying we want to keep it true to the story and how they have stayed true to the comic and all that crap, yet sabretooth is not wolverines brother, wolverine never worked with them willingly as a team, blahblahblah the list goes on and on. but with that in mind, it looks good and i hope it turns out great anyway!!

now that my friend is a multi-platform! but a movie tie-in game can only do so much.

The disappointing factor in other wolverine games is gameplay. It's ashame it only shows wolverine just slicing and stabbing. the wolverine in the comics has alot more to him that NEVER reflects in gameplay. for instance, wolverine is a master in several martial arts, hand weaponry, and a samarai. his combat speed and agility surpasses daredevil or captain america only spider-man is known to be quicker. somehow all these traits (unfortunately) are translated poorly in previous games and films. i hope this game implement them to add more depth to gameplay other than slicing and "tough" one-liners. (fingers crossed)

p.s. he also has super-human strength, which is never displayed.

I hope it has multiplayer. Mutants vs humans. Wolverine, sabretooth, deadpool, Gambit vs the mercs, now that would boost up the gameplay value.

THIS is the kinds of games the Wii needs!! Not those stupid simple rated E games! Basically... THE WII NEEDS TO GET MORE COMPETITIVE and GROW UP!!! (Just not too much. It needs to be rated T).

    Posted Feb 28, 2009 3:15 pm PT

    It looks good.

The question is: "Are the developers going to execute in their goal to make it a realistic and accurate depiction of Wolverine as a character and person?"

If they do good at that then the game will be as good as it looks.

So, last year. What did the Ironman game, Spiderman game, Hulk game,Tramsformers game have in common? They got people all psyched up for nothing.

Wolverine game is gonna be different, why?
Let´s do it different this year...nobody care till we get a hands-on!

will they show his time with uriko, and when he was found by the couple in canada, those are important moments in his story, but since this is a movie based game, and him and uriko have no past, i guess not...

i hope the movie and the game will be good for once.. They always mess up with wolverine in games and movies. Hes a great character that deserves a good movie and game.

I'm glad to see Raven again, they're a great studio that take a lot of pride in their games. This looks true to the originals and looks like one of the few games that'll pay tribute to the source material.

.... not expecting much from any movie to game project that is being released for 7+ platforms. You think there will be time to make the game optimized for every platform??? Don't think so. They generate this kind of stuff for profit and nothing else.

"X-men Origins: Gambit is what i want"

yup Im with you 100% on this... a gambit game made by a good developer like say naughty dog would be totally awesome!!!... shame it will never happen though... one can only wait in idle hope.. sigh... this game looks like it could be ok but it probably wont be.

  • Link5863

    Posted Feb 7, 2009 7:10 pm PT

I don't have ANY high hopes for this game. I just saw an interview on g4 concerning the guy who made the riddick game and scarface and a few others....and based on what I remember from that interview and what the guy said was what needed to be done to make a good movie game, then hearing this guy talk.....I don't think this is going to end well. It's going to be a very shallow beat em up game with a lot of problems, all to most of the versions that come out anyway.

  • polarnimeda

    Posted Feb 7, 2009 4:12 pm PT

talking is fine, but i'll be intrigued only and maybe after a gameplay video.

  • Jak_Napier

    Posted Feb 7, 2009 2:15 pm PT

Thats alot of platforms that this game is being released on. Almost seems like one to many, it may cramp the games style of being a great looking next gen game. Although the Wii version might seem pretty inovative....

as history has taught all off us movie based video games never do well. Transformers was a huge dissapointment but if they would have took there time that could have been a kick ass game. Sorry but i'll past and its said because ima huge weponX fan

Looks like it will kill a** even if it blows. I just hope the environments do not all feel and look the same because I hate when games do that. If this game has blood and intense action like Wolverine vs. Hulk the movie, this game will be fun. I do not think the story is going to win anyone over due to the fact, everyone and their goldfish knows Wolverines story. I hope it isn't like that Bourne game, because playing as Bourne just wasn't as fun as I expected.

  • bakagami

    Posted Feb 7, 2009 9:51 am PT

Great, its gonna come out the same day as the movie. in other words it will b rushed out before its finished & we'll get something crappy like the Iron Man game

  • lordmasterrof

    Posted Feb 7, 2009 7:52 am PT

Razoroo this is an answer for you: Personally i never saw Wolverine as heavy and powerful, but fast and powerful at the same time, BUT what i think it's gonna be like, is that Wolverine is gonna be a lot like Ryu (or whatever his name is) from Ninja Gaiden, and i don't know how good that is..

  • Razoroo

    Posted Feb 7, 2009 5:11 am PT

I don't like what this guy was saying about how to make Wolverine's movements. I reckon he should feel heavier and more powerful. I can tell this is gonna be one of those games where the character moves around at an unrealistically fast pace with erratic movement and crappy animation. For the lose Activision! FTL!

Why don't they just do a nightcrawler game. Hek movie.
