    I hope they'll improve the frame rates for the final product cuz it looks really bad. I still think this game is pretty bad ass tho.

    Love the blood spurts and splatters, love the text for actions stuck to the contextual surfaces (like OPEN on the door at 2:47)... love the slomo - while the mark and execute appears as if it could use a little more interactivity (like slow-moing and then aiming the headshots before popping from enemy to enemy), it should still be great fun [never know until you play the thing!]. I see nothing wrong in refining the formula, streamlining it, and becoming more action oriented. That's what this one is all about anyway!

    But it looks like they've added a lot of great features. This could be a major competitor this holiday season!

    While the game looks to be coming along well in most respects, I don't like their mark & execute idea; what's the point in adding a feature that does something the player SHOULD be able to do without it. Why not just refine the controls to the degree that the player can rush into the room snapping off headshots, instead of having the game do it automatically? It just seems like a dumb-down and a cop-out at the same time.

    Seeing as this is being made by the same team that made SC:1 & 'Chaos Theory' (the best ones), i have complete faith in the teams ability to provide me with the gaming experience i require : )

    people people don't cry it is the best dam game ever then the first one game.so watch out it is going 2 blow u away.the first splinter cell was so much fun but now the new splinter cell look way better. so i can't wait.HELLLLLLL YAEHHHHHHH.

    the whole idea of stealth + action is surprisingly delayed so much! the other SCs were fantastic,totally new level for the gaming. But it was always,observe enemy,memorize the search patterns and then execute.But now. you now sneak around and infiltrate /exfiltrate plus when it comes to the execution part,thats where the action comes in.You shoot,you disappear into the shadows,then cone out of nowhere and continue the action.The sequences are like from a movie.totally addictive.can't wait. sorry for my english.cheers x

    Looks like they're getting back to the roots of Splinter Cell. Which is a very good thing. I might get back into it now.

    This game will be amazing. I'm more excited for this game than ever before. But it's a shame that it wont come out until, 2010.

    Good to hear that you need to use stealth to aquire mark and execute, which would be itself quite easy to advance if you could do it every time.

    Agreed but I've got Flashpoint to get and ODST then this and then Bioshock and after that L4D2 and MW2. Man I like how they are releasing all the good game at the end of the year, I'm gonna have to save my money up or donnate blood and sell body organs inorder to get them all.

    Dont forget, in order to first 'Tag' his targets, sam insert a broken piece of glass under the door (similar to the previous 'Snake Cam'), which enables him to scope out the room before "charging in".

    This game looks awesome, but to be honest I think Sam kicking in the front door and charging in is...stupid. A bit more action in getting away from the enemies is fine, but I don't WANT to be a one man killing machine. If I did I'd take a dive into the FPS infestation we've got going on.

    looking like it may be one of the games of the year. possibly even the best "stealth" game around. Making Sam seem a bit more Jason Bourne-esque is a bold move, but I think it's a good one.
